Hamburger Stroganoff

Recipes

Ingredients 1 lb. lean Ground Beef
1 cup chopped Onion
1 clove Garlic, minced
4 cups HY-TOP Extra Wide Egg Noodles, uncooked
1 (14.5-ounce) can HY-TOP Beef Broth, divided
2 tbsp. HY-TOP Flour
2 tbsp. HY-TOP Ketchup
1 (7-ounce) can HY-TOP Mushroom Pieces, drained
¼ tsp. HY-TOP Black Pepper
1 tsp. HY-TOP Salt
1 cup Sour Cream
Preparation Cook ground beef, onions and garlic in large skillet until beef is browned. Drain off excess fat. While beef is cooking, bring 6 cups of water to boiling in a 3-quart saucepan. Stir in egg noodles and continue to boil 6 to 10 minutes or until noodles are tender. Drain and set aside. Stir together ¹⁄³ cup beef broth and flour in a small bowl. Add remaining broth, ketchup, mushrooms, black pepper and salt to cooked ground beef. Slowly stir in flour and broth mixture. Heat to boiling,
stirring constantly. Reduce heat and stir in sour cream. Do not boil. Stir in cooked noodles. Serve. Makes about 6 servings.
