3/4 pound ricotta cheese 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese 1 each eggs 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper 12 sheets lasagne pasta , may use no boil 1 1/2 quarts Meat Sauce (Search this site for Recipe) 3 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese |
| Preparation |
Cook lasagne pasta according to package directions. Mix together the ricotta, parmesan, eggs, salt and pepper. Spread 1 cup meat sauce in the bottom of a 9 x 13" pan. Layer 3 sheets of pasta. Layer 1/2 ricotta mixture. Layer 3 sheets of pasta. Layer 2 1/2 cups meat sauce. Layer 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese. Repeat layer from #4. Top with 4 ounces of grated parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 F for about 45 minutes. Cover lightly with foil at first to keep it from drying out, but remove the foil for the last 15 minutes of baking time. |
